2023 Spring General Meeting

Our Spring General Membership Meeting will be on Tuesday May 23rd at Stoney's Wine Bar starting at 6:30pm / meeting at 7pm. Rudi Karimi, who is our District 14 Park Board Representative, will be our speaker! He will be discussing the following topics:

  • Status of the sand volleyball pit at Tietze
  • Any other Tietze Park concerns
  • 2024 Bond Program
  • How neighbors can get involved with parks

Our Neighborhood Police Officers are scheduled to be on hand to discuss crime issues in the neighborhood and to answer your questions.

2023 Wilshire Heights Wine Walk

Sip and taste your way through Wilshire Heights at our 2nd Annual Neighborhood Wine Walk. Our event, originally scheduled for April 28th, but postponed one day to avoid severe weather, was a festive event. Friends and neighbors enjoyed wines provided by the Wine Therapist, as well as snacks and desserts, all while enjoying the Flamenco music of Tomas Sclar.

Feb. 5, 2023: The Bob Jones Memorial Chili Cookoff and Cookie Bakeoff

Come show your stuff and win bragging rights to the best chili in Wilshire Heights. Bring your crockpot, a serving spoon and any garnishes. All the neighbors in attendance will vote on their favorite chili. To enter, email Liz Soch (lizsoch@att.net).

Neighbors will also decide the best cookie in WHNA. Bring plenty of cookies for your neighbors to sample so you can win their vote - you don't want to run out!

2022 Wilshire Heights Wine Walk

Come join your neighbors and friends as we stroll to three homes in our first Annual Neighborhood Wine Walk. Your tickets purchase covers a commemorative WHNA wine glass, lite bites, and a variety of wines selected by our very own neighborhood Wine Therapist. We will make three stops - each just a short distance apart.
